Syracuse, N.Y. - CABLExpress has hired Robert Jordan as a data center infrastructure architect. In this role, Jordan will be responsible for leading technical design standards as well as ensuring consistent support of data center and structured cabling solutions.
Jordan is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the world’s largest technical professional organization. Prior to joining CABLExpress, he worked as a sales engineer for 20 years at Corning Cable Systems. Jordan was responsible for providing over 600 training courses in the areas of fiber optic design, installation and testing. He holds a master’s degree from DeVry University and a bachelor’s degree from Savannah State University.
Jordan is a recipient of the Soldier’s Medal for valor and heroism, an individual decoration of the United States Army. He served in Korea, Central America, and Operation Desert Storm.
Jordan resides in Bolingbrook, IL.
